Hey there everyone and welcome to the official Rusty Spoons website! If you are new to Rusty Spoons and are wondering what's going on right now, we are simply comics with a hint of darkness. So check out our comics page to read our featured titles and see what we are all about.
Rusty Spoons is an independant self published comic book / graphic novel that was created using water colour and ink. The comic was created in Derby, England between 2008 and 2011. The concept was to take emotions and create a character for each one. The book is made up of thirteen tales following the lives of Love, Hate, Vanity, Greed, Envy, Lust, Sadness, Loneliness, Fear, Joy, Happiness, Regret and Pain. The book takes it's name from episode 1 of Salad Fingers and his love of rusty objects such as kettles, nails and spoons. It also takes inspiration from dark tales such as The Meloncholy Death of Oyster Boy and Lenore as all these things are amazing. Rusty Spoons is only available here and at various craft events in the Midlands.
